(I am posting this here so that more people might see this debate, as I posted the link in a thread that had an irrelevant subject.)

If you didn't see this stimulating debate, and you have an hour and a half to do so, you can check it out here: http://www.c-span.org/campaign2000 It's under Judicial Watch Third Party Debate. This really is the best debate of the the 2000 Presidential campaign. I urge and implore you to check it out.

renots, I guess most people just aren't political elites like us. We have removed the blinders from our heads and can see the entire picture... both the problems, and the solutions! hehe :D

...was how little political rhetoric there was compared to the 3 Borefests. Definately more rational critiques than I've heard anywhere outside the Net. My kudos to cspan for carrying this; a big improvement over, say, the non-coverage of the corporate scum section of the watergate hearings; good to see this country movin' forward

;0)

Another thing I thought was great about this debate is that Gore-bore and Dubya Bush would have had no right to talk about ethics in government. The representative even critisized Gore when he mentioned that he declined the debate by saying that Judicial Watch had actually taken legal action against him for his ethical positions and actions. Quite amusing that he had originally accepted a debate hosted by the same body that had pressured him in the past.

judicial watch is a far-right-wing front organization that would think Pat Buchanan is a liberal....

...but unlike the 2 main 'moderate' political parties, they're willing to hear and let be heard perspectives that differ from theirs. I don't think anyone can honestly call John 'TM' Hagelin right-wing

Can anyone honestly tell me that they would not be interesting in learning the Trancendental Meditation if it were free?

somehow i don't think the subject heading is attracting too much attention; perhaps a new approach should be tried...
