Just wondering if anyone tried the equalfooting coupon codes (i.e. $50 off $50, $50 off $100, $25 off $50)? If yes, where/when are you supposed to enter them? I entered the code at the end of my check-out process and yet it didn't show up on the very last page where it asks you to "accept" your order. PLEASE HELP/ADVISE!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Hey, I did the deal and as it said on the Main deals page a little while ago, it doesn't show up in the final... I talked to one of their CSR's(Of which are very polite and courteous) and he told me that it's more like a rebate check. Hope this clears the confusion.

I just ordered 128 meg ram, a generic brand, from them for $49.99 after rebate. If it works, great deal. I spoke to them on the phone and seems good.
I think they want to take off the $50 off $50 and put in $50 of $100 cuz $50 of $50 they are losing so much money

They said the $50 off $50 was a mistake, but they gave it to me today (after it was taken down). I didn't have to bitch at all, and the CSR was very polite and helpful. Just call and mention what happened with the code, and you might get hooked up.
You get a check back for the rebate, as well as a separate check back for your shipping. They told me 3 to 4 weeks.

Big THANKS to all of you guys who've replied to my thread and luckily I got in on the $50 off $50 deal before they pulled it off too! =)
pd123: the only problem is that 50 off of 100 for that 128 megs of ram was not really a deal. market price for generic memory is around 54 dollars from a reputable retailer from pricewatch. I would have gone for the 64 megs of ram personally and paid 1 dollar. Maybe I am just being silly..

On the $50/$50... I went for a polaroid camera for $50.99. I'm gonna take some naked pictures of my girlfriend. She wasn't up for it before because she didn't want the developers to see them.
Was that too much info for everyone?

FSK - I agree with you, I'm taking a bit of a gamble. I toss it around in my mind wether to go for the name brand but decided to take the gamble, I will report how it works. I also got it because that day, I heard a report on CNBC on how stocks like Rambus are being effected by generic memory out there for $58 from China, far below what Rambus sells it for. Also, I called Equalfooting and they were extremely polite, almost too polite, and gave me some sound technical advice. I have a Compaq Presario, I wanted to buy 133 memory and they adviced me that Compaq is propriatary and won't work well with 133 so I got 100. Also note that AccessMicro price is down to $58 for 128 meg pc133 is down to $58 without a rebate, but I don't trust that company because of bad feedback on forums. But I absolutely agree with you about going for a brand, I did give it thought and will let you know if it works well.
WOW! I just noticed Buy.com is selling 128 meg memory for $64.95, I guess I was hasty after all. Memory is plunging!
