that people didn't refer to me as "man"
as in, "yeah, like i totally agree with you, man!"
i don't go around assuming the gender of the person posting.
how would you "man" s like it if i starting replying "like, that is absolutly RAD, lady!"
actually, that would be really funny, so nevermind. you can keep calling me man, ladies!
I totally agree with you man. :heh:

Ya know, while the ratio around here has certaily improved in the last two months, this place is still a sausage fest. It's probably why we all simply assume everyone else is a guy. Including Leon: didn't he think Jenny was a guy?

I wish people didn't refer to me as "*******."
As in, "You know, you're a real *******."
I don't go around judging the character and personality of the person posting.
How would you "Luser"s like it if I start replying "Yeah, you know where you can stick it, you dirty rotten piece of flea-ridden shit!"
Oh wait, I do that already...
Nevermind...

ok, i double poster because...well...i had been drinking a little (surprise surprise), which explains why i didn't go back and check it all out after posting, and i was sent to an IE error page the first time i posted, so i hit back ad repost (but i was talking to friend in my room at the same time, so it took a while for me to lok back at the page). Good enough explanation?

Don't know but i think the "man" is just part of the slang that ppl use, just like "Hella" in the west coast and "mad" in the east coast.
I sometimes i slip and say "man" at the end of my sentence when speaking to a girl. they think nothing of it...

The last time someone said "hella" in my general vicinity, we ended up playing cat's cradle with their small intestine. I cannot think of a more inane, annoying phrase or idiom. :grr:

i guess it just looks a little silly in writing.
you would start a letter to a female with "Mr," right? or say thank you, Sir! to a girl.

hella is not "west coast"; hella is norcal. Those of us from San Diego and LA don't use it unless we've been corrupted by a roommate, and when we do...we feel like idiots.

I actually did that one time to a chick I thought was hot, who worked in Target, on accident. I guess I musta got nervous that she was talking to me, and when I went to leave, I said thank you Sir. I felt like the biggest idiot ever.
Anyways, Styleee, I always thought you where a dude, trying to be "Kewl" and spell their name like that... but now that you mention it, I guess it is kinda girly.
