Laser Printers?

my sister just asked me to get her a laser printer, i am pretty out of date to help her, but i'm sure you guys know it all. soo, i'm looking for a pretty decent laser printer in the price range of about $400 or less (preferably less... hehe)

If you want rock stable dependability get an HP 2100. About 200 outside your price range though, only really worth if if you expect to use it for business use in the future. I'm not sure on the new ones, but HP's have not been good for graphics output, by the way.

Get an epson 870, or the newest incarnation of that series.

They're a few reviews out there, in general, I think, the most important thing to look for is first page print time. It should be very short.

Second, keep in mind lots of cheap lasers take up ALOT of desk space, when you fold out the paper input, the paper output, they take up like 8 sq. ft.

thanks for the tips!! i'm using a hp6L for myself, and i haven't had any problems or complaints, but the 6L is pretty dang old. thanks again!
