What brand of menory and where to buy from

Just ordered an Asus CUBX motherboard and an Intel 800/100 coppermine cpu. My main concern now is memory. I know that cheap memory is not a good choice for coppermine cpus. It seems that 6 layer with a latency of 2 is recommended. Does anyone know which brand and where is the best place to buy this type of pc100 memory from.

Is there any (simple) way that you know of (software)to do RAM performance tests, preferably with benchmarks?

Say you wanted to test accessmicro PC133 ram vs mushkin PC100 ram... which would be faster?
Is their a macho under rating in the high quality ram.. like in high end power amps (fosgate 20W amp vs pyramid 200W amp)

All this esoteric ram talk has just got me goin!
