I have a computer with no APG slot... I was wondering if it would be worth it to get a new motherbord or stick with the one i have now and get a pci voodoo 5 5000. Anybody got any insite to that? Thanks

If you have the money to spend on a Voodoo 5 5000, you can definitely afford a new motherboard. I suggest getting a new mobo and a Geforce 2 MX card, which will give you similar results for a fraction of the cost.

Ohh shit I tried that same thing I thought well just buying a new card would save me alot of cash and I ordered a Geforce 2mx PCI version. I was wrong. I put it in and I barely got 20fps during counter-strike. I Benchedmarked it and got an 804(My voodoo3 2000 got a 943). DO NOT GET A PCI video card you will regrete it.:P

I'd suggest you to get a new motherboard (at least AGP 2x, such as BX-chipset or Via-chipset or i815 and etc) with a GeForce2 MX. They can cost less than 300 bucks together.

Ok sounds good. But I also have a problem with that. Right now I have a i810 motherbord. It has intergrated sound card, modem, and network card. I dont want to have to buy thouse cards, so i would have to find a motherbord with that included. I also have a slot 1 processor that i would be transfering to the new motherbord. Any suggestions?

Get somthing with AGP... simply put, cutting out the 10,000 word essay on why to go with AGP over PCI.
