Don't people realize that they are selling USED?

I wish people that try to sell stuff here would stop comparing their prices to Staples, Buy.com, or even (gasp) pricewatch. You are selling something USED. When you sell something used, it has depreciated. Also, you're asking the buyer to trust a total stranger, often with little or no recourse.

Please keep this in mind.

(I have been looking for some hardware on this board for a while now. I would love to toss some scratch towards a poor sot like myself for his/her stuff, but the prices have often been dismal.)

I know exactly what you mean! Sellers think they will get almost their money back even though the item is used which is ridiculous. I'd rather fork over the extra $20-$30 to a store. At least I know the store will be shipping my item definitely and that I will receive it.

10-4 on that........ some yo-yo wants more for the "same" used HD than what you can buy a new one for!!! These people jump on the newest - latest - greatest stuff when it comes out and in 4 or 6 months when something better somes along they figure they can get back what they paid for their crap 6 months prior AND the retail price in the mean time has dropped....what a joke. Take it to e-Bay and sell it for retail and screw them over there - trying to screw someone on APEX is totally uncalled for AND not very nice !!!

Hey Sumgai,
I know who you are referring to and don't worry. Someone DID buy it for my asking price. I didn't rip anyone off. It's not like i forced them to buy it and they're very satisfied with it. Some people here dont mind used stuff. If you dont like what I sell just stay out of my thread. I have many satisfied customers who buy from me.
