Any word on a place that is selling cC0 stepping P3's? I mean cheap. Remember how Onvia was selling cB0 700 P3s at a good price? I know some places sell them (cC0)specifically... but they pump up the price because they know they have something good.

Has anyone gotten a cC0 stepping just out of chance?

I don't know... I don't think that I would buy an 850 right now unless it was a cC0. Because really... the difference between an 850 and an 850@1000 is not THAT much faster... you know? A cC0 850 might have the potential to flirt with 1.13G... but who knows?

Especially when the Thunderbird 1G is around $250.
By no means am I an AMD guy. But those Thunderbirds are mighty fast and mighty cheap. However, if a cC0 750 can be had for under $200... that might be a good choice with an 815 motherboard. And a cC0 Celeron... oooooh, that's tempting at under $80 for someone with a BE-6 II... or similar.
