$139 asus AV7 mobo
$285 amd 1 gig cpu (oem box)
$110 256 ram (cheap as hell rite now)
$145 30 gig hard drive ATA 100 7200 rpm
$ 35 case/300w power supply

**computer shows got some tight ass deals**

Thanks for the help from everyone giving me info on my hardwares. I haven't looked into any sound or video cards yet, i'm just gonna use the ones i have for now and upgrade later. If anyone has any recommendations for sound or video card that will complement this system, please reply.

The pomona one. I got a few business cards and dealt with them. Most dealers want cash upfront at the show or only offer the prices at the shows. Since i live in diamond bar, most vendors there were from walnut or city of industry. It's how and which vendors you talk to. Some will still let you have show prices at their actual store if work with them. Just keep your eyes open at the shows and talk to whoever is in charge (not the dumbass salespeople who don't even want to waste their weekend at the shows)

The computer fair at Buena Park is the smallest and the cheapest (pricewise) if I remember it correctly. I always go to Pomona's computer fair whenever I'm seeking computer parts. Sure, it's couple bucks more expansive but if you purchase the annual pass, it ain't matter. Plus on my way back, I can go to RH and have some good Chinese food. :D
