This is seriously the cookware for life. This French-made set has a 101 year warranty, but I`m sure it will last longer than that. What Le Creuset does is make their cookware with a cast iron internal skeleton, then put a enamel coating on the outside. It`s nonstick without the alleged toxicity of polymer nonsticks. And since it`s cast iron you get pretty crazy even heat distribution. And because it`s an enamel coating, food odors will not stick. The French know how to cook.
