I'm looking for a cheap box that is at least a 486-50 or better with two working serial ports and 3.5" floppy drive. The QUIETER it is, the better...(a stable fanless system?) Please email me with your asking price if you have such a system. Thank you.

Smells alot like an emulator setup. :-)

Compgeeks had a pentium 90 barebones that would work well for $30 plus shipping.

Shoot, I just threw out 2 computers: an sx 33 and a dx2 66 computer :(

I still have the overdrive for the 33 to 66 (intel) and for the 66 to 133 (kingston turbochip).

They are outside right now in my front yard next to the garbage cans. They haven't been in the rain yet (I'm talking about the actual computers, not the case). If you're still interested, lemme know.

BTW, my garbage goes out on Thursday and and today is Sunday.

I have the chips (4 of them in total) up for auction here:

I know...LOL ROFLMAO
hehe

BTW, these are old computers....it's really quiet, except that the power supplies are pretty loud. I did see a guy around here on gotapex selling 2 100 watt power supplies tho, might wanna try that?

What are you using this for? You putting a computer next to yur bed or something? In your dorm? Leave it on while you sleep for an ftp server?

LMK.
