New Toyota FJ Cruiser

I was checking it out on the Toyota site and it looks pretty cool. The price is not too bad but I hear right now the dealers are doing a 50% mark up on the vehicles.

not really worth the price in my opinion. Get the new rav4 instead!

if you like offroading, this mini-hummer will get you places, that's for sure. and it's a looker too...to me at least. but if you're just an urbanite like 99% off all suv owners, i agree with ramazank2. i recently bought the new rav4. it's hot. and if you get the v6 sport, it's even hotter.

I like the look of the FJ Cruiser. Not that I'm going offroading but the FJ Cruiser seems to be more rugged than the Rav4. How much is the Rav4 going for nowadays?

i got mine for $300 over "invoice." i'm sure you can get it for lower now. but the dealerships aren't as willing to deal for a v6.

It reminds me of the old school land cruisers of the 70's. I like the look, now if it could come in a hybrid version... :thumbup:

I got my 2006 Rav4 Limited V6 for 500 over invoice after a lot of negotiation.... After taxes and reg mine came to ~30k.

I was sold when I saw 22/29 MPG and 269 hp.

Actually the RAV4 is on a truck chasis. The highlander utilizes the camry chasis.
