I am looking for a PHP/MySQL savvy person for a project of revamping the code of a website. It will be a paid position with the amount being discussed whenever you PM. If there is anyone around here that is good at these two things, please send me a PM.
I know there are other forums for this, but I know the people here, so if I have seen your name before I'm more likely to want to work with you, as I am looking for someone I atleast have heard of before.
The job is for an actual business. (mine) Thanks in advance.

is there a specific program to use for php? For instance, with html you can do it in front page or dreamweaver.

Uhmm what?
You can work in PHP in Dreamweaver or most other programs designed to work with HTML. In theory you can write it all in Notepad if you get really froggy. For PHP Markup though you would need either Dreamveaver or some old school PHP Coder Pro.

not really, it's like any other scripting language such as ASP or Javascript. I do most of my personal webpages in PHP with a MySQL backend.
i write it all up (the HTML, PHP, everything) in a normal text editor, because I'm usually doing it at a computer where I don't have nice HTML editing software. Guess I'm froggy! :P

So.. I got one nibble on this lasttime I posted. But he is pretty busy with the saddlebags that Apex keeps around his neck. Anyone else out there looking for some contract work on a PHP Site?
We currently have a "Coder" but he has also been pretty busy with other projects and hasn't had much time for what we needed of him..

Yep. Still looking for someone also. But I guess we don't have any Resident PHP Coders that aren't already busy! :'( I tried a few of the "Rentacoder.com" "guru.com" But I can't really seem to narrow it down to someone that is Affordable, and willing to work with in the area I need.
