Weird problem with PS2

Hey everyone,

I have a funny problem and need some help. I just got the game BLACK and Fight Night for PS2. The games load but does not recognize the controller??!?!?!

I have tried resetting, turning the system on/off, unplugging the system.

It will work with other games, just not these two...

Anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? I would think one game, ok.... but two?!!

hmm no idea. Maybe the controller port is busted? I might recommend going to a PS2 forum as they would probably have a lot more expierience with what you are mentioning.

Then again, after looking around google, i didn't find any off the top of the stack so i dont know where too look. Sry.

I only have one controller at the moment.. Does that make a difference? If so, I'm going RIGHT NOW to get a new one.


I am so frustrated right now....anyone have any ideas or anything else I may be doing wrong?
