Back in the day i used to use magicfolders. It encrypted and hid the folder. It would be kinda hard to find it if you didn't know it was there.

I'm glad Microsoft killed it. Just read about it in depth in Information Week.

What a nightmare this could have been for IT if it had been widely downloaded and used.
