This VH1 show kinda makes me think that all those "We Love the 70s, 80s, 90s" shows were just the "study quizzes" for this show.
So many questions these guys ask, I know.... but then they get into the "down and dirty" obscure minute detail type question that would fumble alot of folks up. (Personally, I hate the questions where they ask for the real life names of people who you only know by their "character names" or the lyrics of songs I don't really listen to, but yet I've heard of the song before.)
Now they are down to the Semi-Finals.... I was SO glad to see that Cheetara group defeated (that one short stubby lady really was workin' my nerves from all her loud cheering... yet she was always the first one to get sat down in head-to-head competition).
Honestly, I think that the "Perfect Strangers" probably have the best shot at winning it all... since they were the best "single person/non team" qualifiers from the online entries and thrown together as a team. But I guess we shall see.
One last comment... does anyone think that the "scoring system" is fair on this game? For example... if a person misses their question, their opponent gets a chance to steal it. If stolen, then that person gets a chance to get another point with the next question, thus making it almost impossible for the first person to catch back up. I think that each contestant should have to do a question 1 on 1 for each point and not the turn... as the turns run out at 5, that way if both contestants get each of their questions right, then the last odd turn you ask the "tiebreaker question", yet if they miss say question 2, they can take a chance that their opponent might miss question 3 or 4 so that they can catch back up.
Do you guys have any thoughts on this show?
