My friend is moving to Cali and decided to leave me with a broken PS2. He's too lazy to get it fixed so he just gave it to me as a farewell gift. How beautiful is that?
He says the tray is stuck and doesn't respond when the eject button is pressed. Does anybody know the best and cheapest way to go about getting this fixed is? The console is most likely out of warranty. Do I call sony? Bring it to a local game shop? Any guesses on how much it might cost?
I've always thought it might be nice to have a PS2, but I never thought it was worth it since I don't really play too many games. If it's relatively cheap (<$30) and not too much trouble I'd like to try getting this thing fixed.
Thanks in advance.
