How do you de-stress when you have had an incredibly challenging day?

well, theres always the stiff shot.drink option, but its not the best one.

luckily, those days happen to be days when i can play basketball of volleyball, and that helps. nothing like beating someone in a sport to feel good. that and music, lots of music

Go to the gym and workout hard. It's difficult for me to stay upset/stressed through a hard hour long workout.

:stupid:

Sometimes I kick back and enjoy some brews. Other times, I workout.

I don't mean to put a potty post up, but a good round of naked two-stepping also works.

-take a long hot bubble bath
-drink a couple of icy cold beers
-talk it out with my best friend
-and i agree with the others about working out. it's a great de-stressor. after a good workout i feel euphoric.

:stupid: The more stressed I am, the faster the treadmill turns :)

Certain types of music do the trick. I prefer to close the office door, turn things up (a bit), lean back in the chair, close my eyes and relax...

A bath, and then curling up in bed with the remote, and doing nothing.

I recommend a dart board also in addition to everyone else said.

I read to relax.

When I'm extra stressed I ask/tell my son (he's 10) to let me just breathe for 10 minutes. I then stretch out on my bed (on my back) and I close my eyes and think of nothing. Just relax.

But for the most part, when I'm just a little stressed I read.
