My school is currently switching over to cisco controlled access as a way to log into both the wired and wireless network.
If you are on a windows or mac machine you will have to download a client that checks your security updates and virus protection. If you dont have current updates or have norton antivirus installed it won't let you connect.
The only OS not supported is linux, so they are just letting these computers connect without authenticating or downloading a client.
Does anyone know of a way that I can make my windows machine seem send a referrer code of a linux machine so that I will not have to install this opressive client on my computer. Thank you.
