It's Friday, and no one can take that away from you. Unless you're Pluto.

Pluto got jobbed, man.

Sure, it's smaller than our moon. Likely it escaped from somewhere, and just sorta wandered the streets of Space, till it came to the big city: The Sol System. Perhaps it was always here, and just got into one argument too many with Uranus. I can relate, especially when I eat too much chilli.

But it made it's own way, man. Got it's own orbit and everything. Sure, it's oblong and sorta weaves in and out like a .20 driver on a .08 expressway, but hey, it had to learn on it's own. No one showed Pluto the ropes. It was the creative type of the solar system.

And then finally, discovery! Pluto had made it, man, had gone through the right of passage and was a discovered planet! All the other planets made way then. Pluto stood proud, the last in the system. Well, sometimes: Pluto still couldn't follow a circle to save it's life.

And now, those science bastards, those same jerks that wreck all our dreams of being bit by a radioactive wombat and going on to fight crime with their talk of 'reality' and 'laws of physics' up and pulled the rug right out from under Pluto. It's like being demoted from manhood. It's like deciding baseball doesn't need a shortstop, or dumping the cornerback, or...okay, that's pretty much the extent of my sports knowledge, but it's like that.

Not to mention, they've totally hosed up poor Interplanet Janet, the galaxy girl. It feels like the county came by and decided my yard is a quarter acre smaller, just cause they don't like the bushes on the edge.

It's pretty Mickey Mouse of them, if you ask me.

Yeah, I'm outtie. Got 3 birthday parties to deal with. And a damaged tree from last nights storm. Fun weekend for me!

You go have a day, a weekend, and hopefully, no one suddenly decides you need to be reclassified.
