When does Big Bear usually open?

I'm taking my son out west for a weekend of skiing this winter and I have two vouchers that need to be used by December 15. Are they usually open by then? The reason I chose Cali is because I'll get a bunch of miles which will help me hit platinum on NW again and my BIL lives in LA.

I doubt it'll be open by Dec 15th. Cali gets most of it's snow in Jan/Feb

it really depends on when the snow/rain starts. two seasons ago...it opened in October because of the massive amount of rain we had. last year, i think it was opened by Thanksgiving. but like sizemic says, we dont usually get snow until jan/feb.
