What was your favorite Transformer?

Just to make it a seperate thread from the Transformer movie because it deserves it's own thread....:) And let's just focus on G1 and G2 TFs.

Here are mine:

Autobots

1. Jazz - I always liked Jazz. He was so cool looking and liked awesome music...:)

2. Bumblebee - Just because I like the underdog

3. Springer was pretty cool. I always wanted a triplechanger as a kid.

4. Optimus Prime - Of course.

5. Jetfire - Yeah, yeah...I know...cheap knockoff of Robotech. But....this a cool Autobot.

Decepticons

1. Megatron - Arm cannon....'nuff said

2. Rumble - Kind of an annoying voice, but as small as he was, he always kicked the Autobot's butt.

3. Soundwave - I like the way they made his voice with the monotone harmonics. I also liked the way he was able to store like 4-5 tapes in his torso.

4. Cyclonus - But only in the movie. I didn't like him much in the everyday cartoon.

Arcee. She was hot. Okay okay, she was in the movie.

Of the original G1 Transformers I liked:

Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus were my favorites. I think Ultra Magnus because the toy for him was huge.

Not counting Beast Wars, eh? I liked Rhinox too. Jees, I'm such a dork.

I watched the Transformers but Springer doesn't come to mind at all.

My favorite was Brawn and Soundwave. I still have Jetfire and Megatron somewhere. Megatron I got by mailing in the Proof of Purchases and paying shipping and handling.

Edit: Googled Springer. Yeah I had him. I had most of the transformers. Had all the pieces to make Devastator. Had the ones the you pulled back and it flipped up on it's feet. Omega Supreme was the best toy. A tank that moved around on a track and walked in robot form. Genius.

I had the guys to make Devestator and the Autobot airplanes that made Computron. I also had Metroplex which was cool.

i thought the aeriobots made Superion.

i also had omega supreme, but i didn't like him as much in robot form as i did in tank form.

i always thought optimus prime looked insanely cool in robot form. i wasn't a huge fan of him as a truck, but he was the dopest looking robot.

i didn't have many of them myself, but i did have all the... dammit, i don't remember what they were called.. the futuristic ones that made up Computron. and i also had all the Combaticons that formed Bruticus.

those were some great toys. haven't been too keen on all the subsequent incarnations of the transformers.
