Transformers Comic by IDW Publishing

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and expose my "geekness".

Is anybody else reading this brand new TF series by IDW Publishing? Apparently the TF haven't been in comics for a while now...this is their triumphant return!

While I was never really into the TF before, the buzz about the new movie has brought them back to my attention. For all you Bay haters...this isn't an adaptation from the new movie. Instead, it is a retelling (with some minor changes) of the original TF storyline. Yes, all the TF have their original looks, with some minor facelifts of course.

So far I've got the entire "Infiltration" series (except number 2) and am waiting on "Escalation" to start up this November.

So...anybody else?

I didn't see this thread before.

I will go out on a limb here an also expose my nerdiness. When I found out they were doing the comics again I almost peed a little with happiness. :)

No....but seriously...I thought they were cool and I've gotten to read some of them. I'm happy they decided to redo the Gen 1 Transformers instead of just doing stupid beast wars or energon, etc transformers that suck.

hey now, at first i felt the same way about beast wars. but if you give it its due time, you'll realize it's not as bad as it seems, and in fact, it pays homage to the original TF.

my friend has most of hte comics, but i haven't had chance to read them yet.
