The IRS just released standard amounts for your 2006 tax return (to be filed in 2007) for a refund on overpayment of taxes on long distance calls from Feb. 2003 to Aug 2006.
Please use the list below to figure your tax credit.
Individuals with:
1 exemption $30
2 exemptions $40
3 exemptions $50
4 or more exemptions $60
Or if you can prove you paid more than the exemption amount, you can claim more.

In general, any individual, business or nonprofit organization that paid long-distance tax for service billed after Feb 28, 2003 and before Aug 1, 2006 is eligible to request the refund.
