My friend calls late last night and says 3 words then hangs up:
ESPN Strikes Again
This morning I learn ESPN SNBB picked up Cardinals @ Houston on Sept 24. This means ESPN expects Houston and St. Louis to be a big game down the strech. Ok thats fine, STL will win the Central (Fingers crossed)
Well I had previously booked a trip to Houston to cheer on my Cardinals.
Sept 23 2pm to Sept 24 9pm I would be in Houston for the last 2 Astro Home Games, both vs. STL.
Now that they have backed up the Sunday DAY game to a Sunday NIGHT game, I have 2 options.
1. Still drop 350 in airfare and 100 on a hotel for a 1 game on saturday and make it back for work in Orange County Monday.
or
2. Add another 100 to change my flight to Monday morning HOU-SNA then get a Hotel room Sunday night, and show up at 11am for work on monday.
2b. Cancel for 100 all together, and lick my wounds.
Damn ESPN screwed me. Both choices are good and bad.
Any thoughts?
