Some days I love AOL so much I could cry. Today is one of those days.

AOL, in its effort to gain new customers and get back old ones, has started streaming videos of old TV shows, music videos etc. Well, they are also now doing previews of upcoming shows. Shows like “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. *swoon*

Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlame are back at it again and I’m ever so happy for it.

I just watched the premiere episode and I about passed out from glee and joyfulness. This show is classic Sorkin and this show will be a hit. I’m already sucked in, although, those who know me best know I’m a sucker for anything Sorkin. That aside, though, it really is a great show.

If you aren’t AOL (it’s now FREE to everyone) and can’t watch it now, be sure to catch it when it airs on September 18th at 8pm. You’ll not be sorry.

The pilot episodes of Kidnapped and Studio 60 were released on DVD a month ago or so and I watched both. I personally disliked Studio 60, but found Kidnapped to be mildly intriguing. Kidnapped will be on my DVR list for the first few episodes to see if it stays on track to be something entertaining. As for Studio 60, I have no desire to watch it ever again.

I'm not on AOL but I watched it on there last night and I was actually amazed at how much better it was than I thought it was going to be. I abhore SNL, so I assumed (& made it loudly clear to everyone) that I was going to hate Studio 60, but it was really the opposite. I really did enjoy it. :D

I can't wait to see Kidnapped either!

I'm not a fan of SNL either but anything Aaron Sorkin touches... I'm there... at least to try it out. He's yet to dissapoint me.

By the way Ray, what about Studio 60 did you not like?

The format was a bit too boring for me. To make matters worse, the show is 1 hour long. I think I may have enjoyed it more if it were only a 30 minute program.

I would have watched Studio 60 but it was on at the same time as CSI:Miami and I am not giving up Horatio Caine for any other show. I guess it is time to call Cox and see about getting (is it?) DVR.
