What do you guys think about these pads?

I'm getting my car's front and rear bumpers repainted so I don't want to get them scratched up again or anytime soon.

In parking lots I worry more about "door dings" than bumper dings... That pad won't help for those.

Park by feel? You can't drive with them on, so you have to stop, get out, install them, and then bump your way to a perfect park job? Then remove them before you leave? Each and every time you park the car? Seems like a lot of work just to avoid learning where the front and rear ends of the car are.
"Minimize or Eliminate the damage to your vehicle bumper during low impact parking operations" LOL If I ever catch anyone performing "low impact parking operations" and using my car as a performance gauge, I'll be pretty upset even if they do have one of these things.

I'm not worry about me hitting other cars, moreso them hitting me. I'm an excellent driver. I see people park their cars, put the pads on and them leave them on until they come back to drive the car.

Okay, I admit it. Being the total mom/grandma, I thought you were talking about bumper pads for a crib. Guess I should have looked at the thread title! I'm sure Cheapie understands where I am coming from.!

Depending on where you live, those things won't be there when you get back to your car.

Seems like way more trouble than they're worth. In fact, you may just bring yourself trouble. Kind of like the people that like to park sideways across 3 spots so people won't park next to them.

in 15 years of driving noboby has ever hit my bumpers. so i'd have to say it's a poor investment. plus, i'd never use them.
