These things are great - I can't believe how bright they are. I just bought about 10 of them from Amazon & scattered them around the office - last time we had a power outage we were short on flashlights.

I doubt that I will ever buy an incandescent flashlight again. The battery life of the LED flashlights is sooooo much better.

I was at a trade show recently, and one place was giving away a LED flashlight (it was probably 11 or 13 LEDs) so I begged (because I had an exhibitor badge) one for my daughter (who had specifically asked if I could find her a flashlight among all the pens, etc., that you can get at these shows).

Markel, too funny. My wife was pulled in to go help out at a few trade shows in her area of expertise over the years and she always came back with all kinds of doo dads. I loved it! She had to beg for the good ones when they didn't have a good freebie to trade.

Argg..Wish I had waited. Mine (one) will be delivered tomorrow.
I got one delivered earlier this week. I ordered two more yesterday. With kids, these are nice to have around. And I'm not sure if it is just because the batteries were fresh, or maybe the LEDs are better, but the one I just got is MUCH brighter than a different one I've been using.

Yeah, do a froogle search for LED flashlight. There are thousands of them out there, and you should be able to pick up an 8 or 9 LED mini flashlight for under $5 each pretty easily.
