Has anyone ordered from What's Hot Now?

Just curious, I took advantage of the current deal this morning (2 orders) and have yet to recieve any E-mail comfirmation as of yet. The last time I tried these guys out it took over 3 months to get my order, but I figured I'd give them another try since the prices are awesome. Also, I went to "My Account" on their site and it doesn't show any orders currently made. (Even though I should have 2 pending.)

I ordered from them due to the 50% off deal...got my stuff...that's for sure...but I called in the day or two after I put my order in cause I put the wrong shipping address and well I was able to change it...but lo and behold it still went to the original address...but I did get my stuff...my suggestion to you is to call and say that they're getting a bad wrap and check to see if any of the items you ordered is on back order...so you know for certain that you don't keep waiting on backordered items...Hope that helps

Yup, I got almost all the things I ordered from them. FOR FREE. I would have posted something back then but that was before I even knew there were forums like this to share freebees. I think the reason I didnt get all my things was because people that work at my school's post office jacked them. But its all good. I only lost 2 posters which cost...approx 40 bucks. But I got about $180 worth of things for free in less then a week by clicking and clicking and clicking and clicking........but then again, it only took 2 days to click on everything they had to click...approx 10 hours total to get it. If you think about it, I got paid 18 bucks an hour clicking. lol. But too bad they got rid of that system and implemented the 50% off things. They do mail them out, but it takes at least a month to get anything, which sucks. What am I complaining about, I got them for free.

My dvd library is very happy thanks to whatshotnow, in addition I got a bunch of cds, but the haven't shipped a lot of stuff to me still.

I ordered a PSX memory card last Christmas and it took over a month to receive it.

I ordered some shot glasses from them while they had the 50% off sale. Took me 2 months to get the order sent out. I wouldn't suggest ordering during xmas time.

I ordered from them yesterday. All I did was go to the site and all prices said: NEW YORK PRICE and gave a price in red. They were cheap as hell. So I ordered a bunch of stuff. A few hours later, I get an email that they were unable to process my order. Then I went back to the site and all the prices didn't say NEW YORK PRICE anymore and they were much more money. They didn't want to send me the items because they saw they messed up and instead told me my credit card was rejected. Which was not the case, since it's a plantium card in good standing. Really good business practices over there!

Whatshotnow.com is SOOOOOOOOOOO stupid and so SLOW!!!!!! I placed an order 2 days ago and I haven't seen an email confirmation yet. They can't pull up my order history or anything because it takes 48 hours to download. When they tax, it is wrong cuz they tax the original amount, not the subtotal amount with the hot dollar discount even if you use them. The staff are a bunch of idiots especially at night. I have no idea why they hire those pain in the butt know nothing idiots. And when you order even if it says in stock, it might not be. Because the status of the item may change due to them taking 48 freaking hours to download your damn order.

Can we report this unreliable, unorganized behavior to the better business bureau?

Oh, and I forgot to mention to add up 48 more hours for them to verify your stupid credit card. Their computer system is very picky so if there is one mistake or it isn't exactly right...the computer rejects the credit card. Now what is that?!?!?! Ordering from other places, I don't have this problem. And damn it, I won't even know why the computer rejected my credit card till they can pull up my order history.

Whatshotnow deserves to crash, burn and die!!!!!

LOL Angel! I'm still waiting for my E-mail confirmation from 2 orders I placed on Monday morning...4 DAYS AGO! Definately one of the most unorganized online stores I have dealt with. When I go to "My Account" to see my order history there isn't even anything there! Coincedently, there "Contact" link isn't working so I can't even get their lousy phone number! Ridiculous!

Oh, here's an E-mail I sent them:

Question: How do you stay in business? WHN is the slowest most unresponsive company I have ever dealt with online. It's been 5 days since I placed an order with you, no E-mail confirmation, no reply to E-mails I sent 2 days ago, no answers with consumer service! People, are you running your company with Pentium 66mhz computers? Even small E-Stores have some kind of instant reply when a purchase is made. My advice to Employees of WHN...start looking for another job, because a company that is run like this won't last long.

haha. I called them a few hours ago, actually a few times a day trying to chase them down so I can have my order within 7 days. I need those items by Thursday so I don't have to go make a late night trip for Kris Kringle gifts... I paid standard shipping, but damn it, I think I should get my products within the time frame I paid for which is THREE (haha. not with them) to SEVEN DAYS (not months!) They are a mess over there. My order still hasn't been downloaded into their computers...it has been over a day already. There computers are slow and they told me to expect the order to be downloaded in about three days. WHATEVER. I am going to call them a few times a day until they get tired of me and send me my items!!!!! Btw, I think they are having so many problems with their computers that they might have crashed a few times. They are taking the orders by hand and giving it to teh supervisor. haha.

Well, not that funny...cuz I want my ORDER!!!!!!!!! damn it.

Good luck with getting your items in 7 days. Not to worry you but I ordered a DVD through them and it took 3 months. Actually, I cancelled the order after 2 months with no answers, but they sent it a month later and billed my CC. You'll be lucky to get this stuff before the year is over.

When do they bill your credit card? Because they have already billed mine for the full amount of my order. So, if they only bill the cards when the items ship then I am happy...otherwise I suppose it doesn't matter.

if you don't get any response from them I say go to companies like
http://www.webassured.com and file a complaint against WHN and tell them what you want them to do. they usually work pretty fast on the complaints.

This place is the most shaddiest place online. I remember them from last year when they had their initial 50% of sale for their grand opening. I have yet to recieve my dreamcast that I ordered from them. It has now been 1 year, 1 month, and 3 days since I placed that order and accordering to my order history it was shipped along with 3 other purchases I made with them. Did I recieve any of them?? NO!!! Simply put DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!! But then again... i just placed another order with them... they had this huge sale on star wars stuff and well if i actually get this stuff... i just bought half my friends christmas gifts... The sad things is that they are not goign to ship... they're going to charge your credit card and make you wait for you to come to them.... Tomorrow I plan on calling them up and finding out where my dreamcast went... my pez dispensers and my free dvd's are..and to see if they will actually ship my order.. doubtful, but it's always fun waiting on hold for hours and yelling to incompetant customer service reps... oh's e well... q=)

Well they charged my card.. then refunded my money so I really didnt' care... i got the dreamcast from valueamerica.com when they had there 100 off so it sorta worked out.. but whn.com is definitely a waste of time... i'ts kinda funny that site like that can stay in buisness for so long... q=)

I ordered three CD's from them the other day. They were dirt cheap. They EMailed me and said that two of them were discontinued. What a crock!! I told them to remove the third item from my order.
