Ok, I suscribe to this accessmicro.com newsletter that fills me in with their weekly specials. Today it was saying that memory is becoming short in supply so prices will be increasing across the board. Now, I am not that gullable. Many people (like myself) have been patiently waiting to buy some more memory after the price bottoms out. AccessMicro might be playing on this and trying to get some sales by spoofing a price hike. I took a look at pricewatch.com and memory prices are stable if not declining so my question is this:
Does anybody know for sure if prices are going up? I am sure many of us would like to know exactly when prices begin to incline, so does anybody on this board have an 'in' in the memory industry to know when supply might decline (resulting in higher prices)?

I have a few friends that works in the industry and I had the same question to ask them about Kingston and AccessMicro. One of my friend actually works for AccessMicros, he told me that the ram price will go up soon especially starting next year in Jan I am not sure about ram shortage, but I am stockingup rams hee~hee~

The price has recently dropped I believe. Crucial Technologies was selling 128MB DIMM's for my system for $130, they are now $78. I'm getting a new system, and think that I will order more before the prices jump. $80 for a 128MB DIMM is good, and you can go through the ****** site to get I think it was 5% off that price, which amounts to the shipping costs.
