easy photo editing software

i need something to quickly (quickly being the operative word) edit 40-50 images at a time. i only need to resize/crop and adjust the lighting. i like Ofoto Now, but it won't let me adjust the lighting.

Any suggestions?

As a batch? consider trying irfanview

I use irfanview for resizing (individual and batch) but i have never used it to adjust lighting.
