I'd guess they are frozen and fedex'd..there are several mailorder meat companies..I'm sure they have the technicalities figured out :)

actually, I've received meat from them before. They ship it in styrofoam containers with dry ice and they're frozen. I've never been sick from their meat and I would highly recommend trying it. They're very yummy.

But this is the internet.. with omaha steaks you might not have to worry about mad cow.. it's mad kangaroo that I'd be worried about.

I've ordered Omaha Steaks a number of times. Nothing but the best quality. My advice would be not to hesitate on this deal. Got it myself.

You guys really like Omaha's steaks? I ordered the filet mignons with bacon wrapped before. To be honest, it's not the best quality I've ever had and it's just average. Just my 0.02.
