I've been trying to reach my husband on his cell phone for the past hour, and I keep getting a fast busy signal. After being on hold for 15 minutes with Cingular, I was informed that certain California subscribers are experiencing an interruption in service because of an earthquake hit that affected their network.
Is anyone else having problems making and/or receiving calls on their Cingular phones? More importantly, did anyone feel an earthquake??? I can't find anything on any of the news websites...
I'm on Sprint here in LA and i have no problems right now. According to the latest earthquake maps, there's only been a handful of 1.0-2.0 magnitude quakes today.

Yeah, sounds fishy to me. Maybe it's a Friday the 13th hoax! LOL Pissed because I still can't get a hold of my husband.

Probably doesn't help much, but I'm Cingular here on the East Coast (DC area). No problems at all this evening with either voice or data...
Hope you find the hubby. ;)

I'm only worried because he's at home with my son and we don't have a home phone. Seemed superfluous to have a home phone when we both had cell phones.

Know it's late, but I didn't have any issues with my service around that time -- I am in Las Vegas.
