Animal enrichment is highlighted during these special weekends at the Zoo. With keeper talks and special activities for the animals, these weekends are enriching for the Zoo's guests as well as the animals!

Enrichment is accomplished by adding to an animal's environment or changing that environment to satisfy an animal's physical and psychological needs. While enrichment is done regularly at the San Diego Zoo, All About Enrichment Weekends feature scheduled activities with a variety of animals, with different enrichment activities and different animals each month. All About Enrichment Weekends also offer special keeper talks throughout the Zoo.
