i work for a web design company and i'm writing some press releases for new sites we launched. would you capitalize Website or leave it website and why?

I dunno. I'm still confused about why you capitalize Internet. lol

Neither. I'd go with Web site. Web is short for World Wide Web which is capitalized and site/page is where you go on the Web, imo.
Associated Press Stylebook, Reuters, Microsoft, academia, and dictionaries such as Oxford and Merriam-Webster use the two-word, capitalised spelling "Web site".

Just like any other title - if you're referring to a proper name, it should be capitalized - "The new and improved Widget Factory Website has been compromized by hackers early this morning..."
If you're just using it as a generic name, no capitalization: "We can design a dynamic new website for your company within days of you paying us!"
Whether it's one or two words is up for discussion - I always write it as one word, but your company *should* have some style standards that dictate that.
