Since when did Creative start incorportating burnproof technology into their recorder? That must be a Plextor just packaged under the Creative label right?

TDK sports this feature in their Velo burner also. It's just becoming THE thing these days.
Creative Labs licensed burn-proof from Sanyo just like many other cd-rw makers.

Yamaha is one cd-rw manufacturer not using burn-proof. Yamaha is just using a bigass buffer of 8 MB on its latest cd-rw players.
Ricoh is using its own form of burn-proof called justlink which works just as well.

So it is in fact a rebadged Plextor? Buy.com had the 12X10X32 for 219 yesterday (which is 234 today??) without any coupons. My wife is buggin for a burner for Christmas so I want to get her a good one.
