..that is, can i send an embedded picture in the email, without attaching it?

or is that not possible?

make a html of it and attach it as your background is what I do

just that... open up frontpage. Add the pic and then choose it to be your background when you send mail. So it'll be the stationary for your email.

Browse to where the pic is located (I'm assuming it's local on your PC)
Right click on the filename
Open with Internet Explorer
Right click the picture
Copy
Paste in your email.

Make sure the email your sending is set to HTML and not Plain Text. Should work after that...

sweet! thanx mike....but uh...sorry, one quick question....how to set it to html...i looked inthe options, and it wasn't there.

From the main window (not a message window) Tools->options->mail format (tab)-> set drop down to "html".

I believe that you *must* use microsoft word as your email editor to get the html option. If you have word installed, you will see an option for that on the same tab.

You can use html format w/o selecting MS Word editor...
I personaly don't like MS word editor.
