So I feel like I should be on a reality TV Show this weekend as I'm having (VH1) "The Best Weekend Ever"
To start off the weekend, on Friday, we went to Dave and Busters (For those that don't know it's like a Video Arcade for Adults because they serve alcohol have a bar and such) We go there a lot for "Military Functions" Re-enlistments and such. So we went there Friday for a going away party for a guy at work that is getting deployed to Iraq. He showed up really late because he was at medical all morning and they were telling him he had "High Blood Pressure" and might not be able to go. He volunteered so he is kind of indifferent if he goes or not. They told him to go ahead and go to Norfolk and get checked again.
Anyways.. Because of all of this, they called me at around 5pm or so after the drinking was already well into full swing. Asking me if I knew that I was his alternate, and if I had all of my stuff ready to go in the case of him not being able to deploy. I said "no" .. So anyways.. after that I decided I would drink more.. and more... and some more.
We went downtown for a while and my roommmate drove me home around 2 or so. Slept in the next day, got up, and the power was out because they were working on the lines. So Now I'm hungover with no power so I can't take a shower. Atleast not a hot one.
Day goes by I do basically nothing because I feel like crap. Next day rolls aorund, I get up early with plans for the day to do laundry etc. But today.. The water is out. So again no shower and no laundry.
This weekend is Awesome! ..
I doubt anyone reads this whole thing, but I needed to write it down somewhere. If I don't post for a year or so, I'll be in Iraq.
