My town was supposedly at the top of that list once, but now only some towns nearby are listed. Oh well. Huntington Beach, woo!

2 different lists... one is singular city the other is city + metro area. :D

Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Irvine. All of those towns are right next to each other. Not a fair assessment if you ask me. The authors of the study must live in OC.

Not listed. Woulda thought NOLA would be most dangerous, as it usually is. Lots of robberies, murders, etc. Especially recently, though armed robbery has decreased a bit recently.
Still, even with fewer people, now that there are more victims moving back into town, there are more crimes against them. :(
Still, we're only a fraction of what we were.

Not listed. Woulda thought NOLA would be most dangerous, as it usually is. Lots of robberies, murders, etc. Especially recently, though armed robbery has decreased a bit recently.

If I remember correctly, the report only included cities who reported numbers (thus if the city did not report numbers, they weren't included in this list.)

I work in Amherst NY, #2 on the first list, and I live in the next town over (Tonawanda NY). Not suprised Amherst is rated highly on the list, the cops here are a$$holes and there are tons of them.
