Airbrushing objects and/or scenes was big in the seventies here, especially on custom vans.

I thought that the cars or vans looked gawdy no matter how well artistically it was done.

Actually on the lowrider scene and in the "2 Fast 2 Furious" crowd... you still see alot of airbrushed art on the cars.

If done by a good artist... it looks very cool. I know a guy that has his Harley airbrushed so that you see it as a woman from each perspective (i.e. the front end looks like her chest... the rear is her butt, and you get full side views on both sides.)

I need to take pics of it the next time I see him. :D

I think airbrushing vehicles is tacky. Only on motorcycles does it look ok.
