this may be a bit premature, but any of you participating? what's on your wishlist?

me: 32 or 37" LCD TV. hopefully for ~$500. w00t. (would a mack extended warranty work for B&M puchases?)

Aack, God no. I'd kill too many people. I avoid Black Friday like it was the Black Death, way too much chaos, crowds, insanity, etc.

Day after Thanksgiving.

I went to the mall last year...never again. In fact, I'm going to work, just to be sure.

Black Friday- the day after Thanksgiving, when everybody and their bad manners camp out in the parking lots of stores and make a mad rush to start their holiday shopping. And it lasts all day long. It's the one day of the year you can be guaranteed to see two grown men fighting over a Tickle-Me-Elmo in public and nobody is suprised by it.

I agree with everyone here....BUT I go out every year! My sisters and I get the newspaper the day before. Figure out what we want and if it's a good deal and then a plan goes into effect!!

The next morning we meet at a store around 4:00 a.m. with lawn chairs and coffee in tow. We sit and talk to all the other crazy people in line who get up that early. Once those doors open its just like the commericals.......we run in and grab everything and anything!!

So see.....its true I agree but love every minute of it!!!

Ohhhh, right! Yeah, I don't think I could ever do that. I hate the mall on a normal day, much less the day after Thanksgiving. If I went anywhere, I might go to the Camarillo outlets.

37" for $500, I'd take that all day long. 32", prices will probably down to that level in early '07 anyhow.

I never go. Wifey goes, she seems to enjoy it. :shrug:
