In less than two weeks, two new video game consoles will hit store shelves, at least in limited quality. Sony will go first, launching PlayStation 3 on Nov. 17. Two days later, Nintendo will release the Wii. On paper, the two systems could not be more different.

i placed a preorder with bestbuy, prices for the ps3 are ridiculous, however it does have bluray capabilities and bluray standalone players are like 700 a pop. So right now i have a 670$ purchase, hopefully it will actually ship on the 17th. i hear that first 500,00 order come with a bluray Legend of Ricky Bobby

What they mean is .. "PS3 Required 7 of the 8 Processor Dies to Function , but they had to make a lot of them with only 5 of the 8 working. But no one will care." :)
