I'm not sure how far this deal extends but I'm from NY and Fleet bank has this deal running right now here. Open a Gold account ($1000 in checking and $50 in savings) and you get the Palm for almost free. Here's the almost free part...the value ($240) is reported to the IRS as interest. The accounts are also interest bearing accounts. You have to have the account open for 4 weeks. The catch is you have to close the account within 3 months since they charge you a minimum balance fee (balance of $10,000). They waive the minimum balance for the 1st 90 days. Good luck. I got mine a week after opening the account.
