I'm making my very first trip to do real snowboarding out west (these east coast bunny hills are just frustrating). Destination - Denver, CO - last weekend of Jan. I know there's a whole bunch of ski resorts out there, but I was wondering if you guys knew which one gave the best price - fun ratio.
I'll figure out the whole room/board stuff... but I'm only going to be out there 2 days. I want to be on one mountain for two full days of boarding. and I want to be able to explore and have a blast with great runs (not getting bored with the same trails - I can stay on the east coast to do that).
But, I'm looking at prices for like breck and it's like 75 bucks a day... a bit pricey. hoping for 50ish. Is there a mountain that's kinda the hidden gem that's still cheap and not crowded with tourists like me?
thanks!
