in part thanks to the terrible no interference call.
but still, i'm half glad the colts are going to lose. but does anyone, after watching this game, believe the cowboys are better?
no way. the colts have played like crap and w/o much heart. i'm actually glad they can play poorly and still almost beat one of the best teams in the nfc.

Are the 'Boys better than the Colts? Of course not. The Colts are the best team in the league.
Will take the win, though. No calls, bad calls, shoulda called...it's a typical NFL game. There were good and bad calls both ways. How 'bout that roughing the passer call on Spears? Are you kidding me? It's the nature of the game.
Bottom line: Colts can beat anybody. When Dallas plays to their potential, they can beat anybody. Today they manned up, stood with 'em toe to toe, and won the fight. It was a good game between two good teams. Fun to watch.

ha! they had to no-calls on pass interference in the end zone. one ended up a pick and one a fourth down incomplete. woulda made a huge difference.
but....doesn't matter. i'm glad the first loss came to an NFC team.

C'mon man, the Williams pick was a good no call. Chuck within 5 yards, before Manning threw the ball.
Besides, good teams overcome those plays to win. Colts just didn't come through when it counted. (My boy Romo did, though). :hihi:

Colts looked like they were going to lose soon based on their slim victories of late. It is probably better that they get it over now, show that they're human then play hard into the playoffs. A lot of people expect too much from the Colts and Manning anyway. They are an excellent team, but for any team to be undefeated in even just the regular season is near impossible in this day and age of the NFL. You'd have to have everything go right including having almost no injuries to win every single game. It will probably turn out to be a good thing that they lost right now instead of later.
The important thing for Indy is to try and do better than losing their first game of the playoffs. Even if they lose the rest of their games but still win more than their first game in the playoffs, they are a better team than last year.

Yeah just like USC, the Colts were headed for a loss. They were winning, but not in Colt like fashion.
