Gotta wait. Best Buy is getting shipments in but hoarding them in the back. Inside info says they got a truck today and then guys I don't know that work there flat out lie and say "Oh we haven't received any shipments since the ones that went out on Sunday." Best Buy should really revamp their policy on this. Either sell the ones you have in the back, or tell customers that you aren't allowed to sell the ones in the back. Don't LIE. People will find out. God I hate that.

I suspected as much, but it's definitely for the Black Friday Sales... no doubt after that, the regular shipments will begin to flow.

Yeah, but why hoard them? They won't be putting them on "Sale" So just sell them. Wii's aren't really going to bring more people to their store to buy other things I don't think. And besides, knowing that Best Buy is putting out Wii's on Non-Black Friday times would bring more people through the store.
They could put out Spawn points for the PS3 and Wii, and just randomly place them at those points throughout the day. They would have massive amounts of people in the store looking at everything :D

Go to Black Friday at gamestop or ebgames. The store I got my Wii at on Monday was not supposed to sell them because they were earmarked for Black Friday.

I called a Gamestop today and he told me that he couldn't sell it until Friday.

Exactly. So wait until black friday. I'm sure it's going to be much easier to wait in line early there than at a Best Buy.
My store got into huge trouble because he sold me mine. I felt sorry for them but I was very happy for the mistake.

what time is ebgames/gamestop open on friday?

Operation Black Friday Wii: Status - Failed.
People were Spawn Camping again!
Ebgames in the mall gave out tickets at 5 at to all of the campers. Another Gamestop claims they didn't get any. Best Buy was packed to where there wasn't even parking in the lot or on the grass or in the ditch, or anywhere else, so I didn't get in. Target didn't have any. And if they did in the back, it was impossible to ask someone with the madness in Chula Vista, CA.
Welp that's my story. Better luck next time I guess. :(

On the plus side, I did make myself a cool avatar! Admiral Kirk. Off to do some Wii hunting.
So, the other night Toys R Us had their Nintendo Wii Action Package (~575) onsale on their website, but they called me letting me know their website was wrong and they couldn't fulfill my order.
However, they have offered to sell me just the Console at the regular price of $249 + shipping + tax and of course I accepted. They said they were going to have a unit available for me by this weekend and it should ship out by next week.
Now it's the quest for extra controllers >< Anybody have any luck back in Southern California? I'll be returning this weekend and hope to get all the controllers before the console arrives.
