Today after I finished shopping at Ontario Mills..
I had a coupon (from the coupon book from the information counter) for free drink with ANY purchase at Krispy Kreme..so I went there...and they were handing out free sample glazed donuts! (full size not sample size) and then..so I got my 2 free full size samples (hehe) and then went to pay..75 cents for a rasberry filled one..and then..so 75 cents for my donut and pink lemonade...and then one of the ladies ask me if I want to fill out a 5 minute survey to receive 1 dozen donuts FREE!..and I said sure...so I left there with 14 donuts FREE!! =P~ I'm hungry for pizza though!!...I think it's only for today...
so hurry!! I typed this message as fast as I could!!

My friend just told me that he filled out a Satisfaction/Survey card at the Mt. View, CA location and got a coupon for a FREE DOZEN DONUTS as well. I have not had a chance to verify, but this sounds like it may confirm tseng99's claim.
Don't hate me if it was a one day only thing or a limited time offer, but this might be a great find for 5 minutes of work and ink!!!
Good Luck,
One-Eye

Are the donuts worth the drive from L.A. to Ontario? They sure are! :D

Thanks "One-Eye" for confirming the offer too...
I think today was a promotion day for Krispy Kreme,
because not only were there free glazed donuts handed out and those survey for 1 dozen free..there was also a woman taking digital pictures throughout the event! They are also opening another Krispy Kreme location near the Puente Hills Mall in Industry.
Oh..don't forget to go to the information booth at
Ontario Mills and ask for the "Coupon Book" and inside
you will find a coupon for :
Krispy Kreme...get a free soft drink or coffee with ANY purchase. =)

The solution seems simple enough to me... you'll just have to move to San Bernardino County (only mildly sacrastic). God bless the La Habra Krispy Kreme.

These donuts rock! I'm glad they're opening one here in San Diego, as the closest one is probably a good 2 hours away. I can't wait...

San Diego's Krispy Kreme donuts opens in 15 days....
only 15 days 'til glorious hot fresh glazed donuts are available 24/7...
I wonder if kozmo.com will deliver them??

Where is the San Diego one gonna be?
I grew up there, and haven't been back for a few years so I'm going for a week in January when its cold on the east coast and I can get some donuts and sun!

It's in Clairmont Town Square or Center, can't remember exact title of mall, on Clairmont Drive near Genessee.
Now all we need is a Hardee's and a Waffle House...
they also need to get a roscoe's down here.
btw does this survey thing work at the irvine krispy kremes?

Of course, since Krispy Kremes is a franchise operation, just buy your own doughnut shop. If nobody else is going to do it in your local area, you might as well do it yourself. But since I only live 20 mins. walking away from that San Diego one, I don't need to dish out that much cash to get donuts!

wow..this deal is flaming! did anyone notice the large number of employees krispy kreme has??...and that machine..it's such a lovely marvel!..you know..if someone was able to somehow duplicate the machine and the find the recipe...then we could start a new donut chain!
actually i even heard of this person that went to work for a big name restaurant just to find out the secret recipe for their cheesecake..(i'm not mentioning the name of the restaurant, but you could probably tell..) ^_^ of course she got fired shortly thereafter!

Personally, I think these have to be the most overrated donut ever made. What's the big deal? It's just a soft glazed donut! I have to admit, I was very intrigued by all the hype and when I had the chance to try them I was very excited, as I knew absolutely nothing about them...other than it was supposed to be the donut from the heavens. Then I opened the box and saw a simple glazed donut, which btw tasted damn good for a simple glazed donut...but other than that...I just don't get it. I'll stick to your basic Winchell's bear claw or apple fritter, then again I rarely eat donuts...LOL.

Is it the same center with Cold Stone, Pacific Theatres, Circuit City, Vons, etc.?

Personally, I'm still bitter about the whole Krispy Kreme investor kit deal that fell through :yell:

If you INVESTED $10,000 when they went public (and they didn't go huge IPO day) you would now have $21,000 and that is AFTER the corrections and they only went public in April.
I hat myself for not doing that!!! :smash:
