Can anyone confirm KIIS fm in Los Angeles and So. Cal area buying Playstation 2's for $1,000 each from people? Any truth to that?

Don't know why they would do that... I just saw that someone on one of my previous posts said that KIIS FM Los Angeles was buying PS2s for $1000 each so I was just wondering to see if anyone could confirm that rumor. Maybe they are doing some contest or something... who knows.
