Good price PitViper, but jeepers, this thing has some nasty reviews on Amazon.

It's apparently just "cheap molded plastic with two fans connected to USB for power". The units are plagued with USB power issues and don't last very long. Look on Amazon for "Targus PA248U Tornado Notebook Chill Pad" and decide for yourself.

I wanted to get one of these until I read those reviews. Any G|A'ers have any experience with these Chill Pads?

...well, it's what I tell my wife. I hate sitting in bed with my laptop on my legs because of it.

A small pillow helps, but doesn't really get the job done.
