SS: DHL Failed Delivery

So I had several presents for my brother and his wife scheduled for deliver on Wednesday. Then we got 21" of snow. CRAP!

Anyway, called earlier today, and DHL said it would be delivered today. Then I see at 4:30 that it won't be delivered. I called and they said that the driver can't get here. BULL! I got a delivery from UPS today, and they seemed to be willing to go the extra mile.

Anyway, from here on out, I will be requesting that Amazon not ship my packages DHL for sure.

Any way you can call them and press for Saturday or Monday delivery?

Right now I'm pressing them for tonight deliver :) Unfortunately, I'm leaving town at like 6AM tomorrow, so anything after tonight isn't going to help me out at all.

Just seems like this should be unnecessary since UPS was able to get here.

D'OH! Not tonight I guess. I guess UPS has a better service. Funny, because the UPS guy showed up in a budget truck!

I am right there with you. I paid to have my packages delivered by Friday...No Such Luck!

Man, that sucks. I'd totally be pissed. I used Fedex this Christmas and it turned out awesome. I even overnited something yesterday (22nd) expecting to not see it till 26th or 27th (the estimated delivery was 26th) and Fedex actually had it at my door this morning. Less than 24 hours.
